Baby Extravaganza
Babies "R" Us, the nation's premier baby products retailer, today announced its first "Baby Extravaganza." Every Saturday afternoon in February from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m., more than 190 Babies "R" Us locations across the country will host a variety of special in- store activities and events centered around themes related to caring for your baby and making baby's world as safe and comfortable as possible. Babies "R" Us is a division of Toys "R" Us, Inc. (NYSE: TOY), one of the world's leading retailers of toys, baby products and children's apparel.
The themes for each extra special Saturday in February are as follows:
Making Baby's Room Extra Cozy - February 7th
Making Baby's Trip Extra Comfy - February 14th
Making Baby's Home Extra Safe - February 21st
Making Baby's Day Extra Fun - February 28th
"Our Baby Extravaganza represents another wonderful example of the many innovative and effective ways we are reaching out to our customers and providing them with the kinds of meaningful services and resources they're looking for," said Elliott Wahle, President of Babies "R" Us. Parents can also take the opportunity to enter their little ones in the 5th annual BabyTalk Cover Baby Contest by submitting a photo of their child at their local Babies "R" Us store. The contest is open to all babies who will be between 4 months and 15 months old on April 30th, 2004, which is the deadline for this year's entries. The winning baby will be featured on the cover of the November 2004 issue of BabyTalk magazine.
