Domperidone and Breastmilk

Sunday April 11, 2004
Domperidone can be useful for moms who are having difficulties with milk production while breastfeeding, or who are adopting a baby and are working to induce lactation. Compared to older drugs for this purpose, it has relatively few side effects and is safe for babies. In fact, domperidone is sometimes even prescribed to infants who experience frequent spitting up accompanied by weight loss. Find out more about how this drug could help you achieve nursing success.

I’ve used Domperidone for 5 months and it allowed me to breastfeed my son until he was 6 mths old. I had extreamly low milk supply with both my children and with my son I tried everything I could to be able to breastfeed as much as possible. Domperidone helped me do just that. I never had a single side-effect and still havnt. I strongly recommend mothers who are having are at the end of their rope and have tried all other options to try domperidone. Best of Luck.
