Birth Certificates

If you need a copy of your child's birth certificate here is a list of the offices you can contact in the United States. If you are planning on traveling outside the US, you'll need a copy in order to get a passport. You may also need a copy if you didn't get a Social Security number assigned to your child in the hospital and plan to get one in order to complete your taxes.
