Avoid Lead Exposure from Imported Candies

The State of California has just passed a law banning the sale of candies made with tamarind and chile. Why? Because for the past 10 years, these candies have consistently tested high for lead. Those most at risk, of course, are young children who have smaller bodies than adults and who are more likely to consume high quantities of these candies.
