Sydney's Screaming

Kimber's noticing that rather than cry, Sydney has started screaming. She writes:

Sydney has taken to screaming at the top of her lungs now when she is tired or hungry. No tears. Just very high pitched screaming. The thought that has ran through my mind: "Is it too soon to say, 'No no?' "

Do you have any experience with this? What did you do?
