- Beco Baby Carrier -- these are being recalled because the shoulder straps can loosen suddenly, causing a fall hazard. These were sold at various retail stores for about $140. The company has information about getting the carrier repaired on its Web site in the FAQ section.
- Hip Charm Key Chains -- 12,000 of these lead-containing key chains were sold at Wal-Mart. I wouldn't normally consider this something to warn parents about, but since many parents do allow babies to play with their keys, here it is. On top of that, the key chain was in the home of a 9-month-old baby suffering from high lead levels and the baby had been mouthing this key chain. Wal-Mart is offering a full refund.
- Western Rider Push Toys -- These were sold at various dollar stores and have high levels of lead. You can return it for a full refund.
