Use Maple Syrup as an Alternative Sweetener

Maple extract and maple syrup are great choices to add sweetness and variety to fall baked goods. It's a break from the traditional sugar, and it is a safe alternative to honey, which is dangerous for babies under 1 year of age. When buying maple syrup, try to go for products that are certified organic, since they will not have any traces of pesticides or formaldehyde that are sometimes used by producers.
