Toddlers amaze me. They are the most adaptable creatures I could ever imagined. They often get slack for being slaves to routine and for bucking any attempts to change their ways, but the truth is, they have to alter their way of doing things almost daily to accommodate changing bodies and new-found capabilities. Add on to that the fact that mom and dad are always changing the rules. Consider it: One day we're changing their diapers, the next, we are putting on big kid pants.
