We moved recently and have been playing musical beds with the kids ever since. Little Guy has decided he doesn't want the crib anymore. Big Sister refuses to sleep by herself. Big Brother has taken over Big Sister's old bed leaving her without even an option to go to sleep on her own. Little Guy took over the bottom of the trundle bed -- to jump around, of course, not to sleep.
It's ironic since my husband and I had agreed we wouldn't make any changes to the kids' sleep routines right away. After everyone settled in, we'd transition Little Guy to a big bed and move the other two into separate rooms. This, however, is further proof that we don't actually make the rules around here.
At this point, I don't care where anyone sleeps....just, please, sleep! After all, Santa can't come until your eyes are closed.
