Most parents already have a first aid kit around the house, but with holiday travel approaching, it's always a good idea to have a first aid kit in the car as well. I know around here, most items in the kit at the house have expired and been replaced over the years without even being used (and I thank my lucky stars) but the car kit has taken care of more scraped knees, bug bites and splinters than I care to recount.
