Sleigh Round Cribs Recalled
Saturday June 2, 2007
Not too many of these cribs were sold -- just 180 -- and luckily no injuries have been reported. The problem here rests really with the instructions and not the product (which is just beautiful, I think). The manual says to put the crib together with the mattress in the highest position but there's no information about lowering the mattress when your child is older. That means babies who can sit or stand could fall out of the crib and be injured. The company is advising folks to get the new instructions and use them to learn how to lower the mattress when appropriate. You can call (888) 589-0088 or visit the Son Lin Web site for more information.
