This week brings two recalls involving popular products from The First Years: a feeding chair and a potty seat (right). Lots were sold so keep an eye out for them. I know I've said this before, but when you see items like these recalled, stop by the nursery at your mother's day out, church, temple, grocery store, etc., because these are often staffed by volunteers. Many of those are teens or grandparents without kids. They may not be paying attention as closely as those of us who are affected by this stuff every day.

• The First Years Children's Feeding Seats -- if the straps come loose it poses a fall hazard.
• The First Years 3-in-1 Flush and Sounds Potty Seats as there's lead paint in the decorative plaque.
• TKS Children's Pants from Sears sold in infant and toddler sizes because the ribbon can cause an entrapment / entanglement hazard.
• Ameriwood Entertainment Center because it can collapse if the back panels aren't secure. A 19-month-old died when this happened.
