Ambidextrous

By , About.com Guide

Definition: This describes the ability to use both hands equally well. Most babies and toddlers are ambidextrous, as they have not developed a preference of one hand over the other. Generally by age four, children will begin to demonstrate this preference, and one hand will show dominance over the other.
