"Are you using powder formula? I found that easier. I would have the bottle of water ready at room temp, and the formula already premixed (little dispenser from Wal-Mart - holds 6 oz of formula powder). That way I just dumped it in the water shook it up and fed away."

"Back when Milo was still on the bottle, we had a small dorm-sized fridge upstairs and kept a pre-mixed bottle of formula there. Then when he woke up, we took it straight from the fridge, gave it a good shakin' and gave it to him cold. A friend advised us to serve the formula cold, she said it would make the transition to cold milk go a little easier... it worked for us."

"Keep water at the right temperature in a thermos, keep the correct amount of formula in a formula dispenser. Pour the water into the bottle add formula and you are ready to go. takes a maximum of a minute if you are reasonably awake and with it. Have the thermos exclusively for bottle making."

"Up until around 6 months or so I would just nuke water in the microwave and poor in the liquid concentrate (kept in the fridge) and shake it up to remove hotspots. After 6 months she didn't mind it cold so I would just premake it (1 can concentrate 1 can water) and keep it in the fridge so when she woke up I could just pour and serve."

"My suggestion would be, for night use, use ready to serve. And [if] he doesn't mind room temperature leave it. All you'd have to do is pour it in the bottle and feed him."
