Get More Use of Old Clothes During Potty Training

By Stephanie Brown, About.com

During and after potty training, you will probably find that your child fits into some of the shorts, jeans or pants you thought were outgrown. There's no more bulky diaper taking up all that room in the seat!

So, if you've put those items away, drag them back out and see if you can get a little more use out of them. If you haven't started potty training yet, just remember not to give those items to charity or store them away too soon. You'd be surprised how this can really help you stretch your clothing dollar.

If you have a tip you'd like to share with other parents, send it in and I'll publish it here on the site.
