This pound cake makes a great breakfast, dessert or snack.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 cups flour
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup softened butter
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

PREPARATION:

Combine butter, peanut butter, sugar and vanilla and beat until fluffy.

Add eggs one at a time and beat well after each. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt.

Stir dry mixture alternately with milk into the butter mixture.

Pour entire mix into a greased, floured bundt pan.

Bake at 350 degrees F about 1 hour and 15 minutes or until toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow to cool completely before removing from pan.

Cake can then be frosted using a frosting of your choosing or this peanut butter frosting.
