Guide Review - The Nursing Bracelet - A Tool to Help Breast-feeding Moms Keep Track of Feedings
The bracelet is beaded and wraps around your wrist. No clasp is required, which is helpful for ease of use. There's no two-handed wrangling while you've got a baby in your arms.
Each bead represents 15 minutes and between those are numbered beads to represent the hours in a day. A silver charm (which can also be opened with one hand) is used as the marker.
There are a number of ways to use the charm. You can use it to mark the time that your baby last ate (8 and two beads for 8:30, for instance) or you can use it to mark the number of feeds. If you're concerned about how much breast milk your baby is getting, use it to mark how many diapers your baby has had. Pumping moms can use it to remember when they last pumped and you can get multiple charms to keep track of two things at once.
After you've weaned or when time isn't an issue, Use the bracelet to track appointment times or set goals. I'm using mine to track how many glasses of water I have in a day so that I meet my goal of eight. The uses for this bracelet are completely up to you.
Aesthetics and function aside, there was one downside to the bracelet. The beads touch when you're moving around and make little clicking noises that might be annoying to some people.
