Grilled Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich

Is your child getting tired of grilled cheese? Use this recipe instead to shake things up a bit.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 6 slices bread
  • 6 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
  • 2 ripe bananas, sliced lengthwise into thin strips
  • 1 tablespoon butter

PREPARATION:

Spread about 1 tablespoon peanut butter on each bread slice.Place the banana strips on top of the peanut butter on half of the slices. Use the other half of the slices to make sandwiches. Melt butter over medium-high heat in a skillet.

Cook each sandwich, flipping once, until golden brown.
