Bread Play Dough

By Stephanie Brown, About.com

This is a dough you can make with just bread and glue. The objects you make dry hard and can be painted and preserved.

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 0 minutes

Ingredients:

  • White Bread
  • White Glue
  • Water

Preparation:

Cut the crusts off the bread.

Dilute the glue with a little water until it is thin and runny.

Mix the bread with the glue until a dough forms.

Use the dough to make shapes or ornaments.

When dry, the items can be painted and preserved with shellac or other sealant.

Tip: This recipe works best with very fresh, soft bread.
