Gouache Paint

This paint is opaque and dries very quickly. It's especially good for doing a layered effect in craft projects.

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups dextrin
  • 4 tablespoons distilled water
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 teaspoons glycerine
  • 1/2 teaspoon boric acid solution
  • powdered or poster paints
Preparation:
Dissolve the dextrin in the water. It will be foamy.

Add the honey, glycerine and boric acid and stir well or shake in a covered jar.

Mix this base with powdered paint or poster paint and store tightly covered.

Thin with water if it's too thick.
