Definition: If you carefully support your baby underneath his arms, lean him slightly forward and lower his feet onto a hard, flat surface, he will make a walking motion. (I always thought it looked like my son was riding a bike or doing the running man.) If you decide to try this at home, be careful and support the weight of your newborn’s head. This reflex lasts about 2 months.
Also Known As: Dance Reflex or Walking Reflex.
