Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookies

These cookies combine the great tastes of oatmeal and peanut butter to make a tasty afternoon snack.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup softened butter
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup quick cooking oats

PREPARATION:

Cream together sugars, butter and peanut butter until smooth.

Beat eggs in one at a time.

Mix flour, baking soda and salt and add to the creamed mix.

Mix in quick cooking oats until just combined (do not overmix).

Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 10 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
