Peanut Butter Rice Crisp Bars

These are a new take on an old treat.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 10 ounces mini marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 6 cups rice crisp cereal

PREPARATION:

Melt butter and marshmallows together over low heat, stirring constantly.

When marshmallows have completely melted, remove from heat and stir in peanut butter.

Stir in cereal until it is completely coated with the mix. Spread and firmly pack all into a buttered 13 X 9 pan and let cool completely before cutting.
