With just three ingredients, you can make your own natural peanut butter at home. The oil and salt are optional, so you can make it with just peanuts, too!

Ingredients:
- 1 cup roasted peanuts
- 1 1/2 teaspoons oil (peanut oil preferred)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Preparation:
Put all ingredients in a blender or a food processor.
Blend until mixture is spreadable.
You may need to stop blending and scrape the sides occasionally.
If you would like to add a sweetener, add it about a teaspoon at a time until it's as sweet as you'd like. Some good sweeteners are honey (if your child is past 1 year of age), brown rice syrup, agave nectar or corn syrup.
Store the mix in the refrigerator.
If the oil and peanut butter separate, stir before serving.
