Day 18 - - Make Popsicles

Summer Fun

By Stephanie Brown, About.com

If Fourth of July is approaching, make these great Fourth of July popsicles that are like the old multicolored "bomb pops" from the ice cream man. Or if the Fourth has already passed, experiment with other colors and flavors.

If you want to make your popsicles a little more on the healthy side, or if you want to pack some nutrition into this treat for your baby or toddler, freeze different colors of yogurt instead. For babies and toddlers who can tolerate dairy, use pudding to make popsicles for a yummy 'pudding pop' that costs much less than those you get at the store.

To keep babies and toddlers from making such a mess with popsicles, try this tip.
