Day 6 - - Blow Some Bubbles!
Summer Fun

By , About.com Guide

Bubbles are always fun. If you have older children they will love blowing them, and younger children will love just watching or chasing and popping the bubbles you blow. Here are some recipes for bubbles you can make at home.

And don't forget about the wands. Here are some things you can experiment with to get different sizes and shapes of bubbles:

  • Floral Wire
  • Wire Hangers (be sure to wrap sharp ends in duct or electrical tape)
  • Thread Spools
  • Pipe Cleaners
  • Strawberry Baskets
  • Straws
  • Frozen Juice Cans

While you're outside blowing bubbles in the sun, don't forget about heat stroke and exhaustion. It can affect even the youngest children and can affect you as well. Here's how you can help avoid it.
