What is the name of your blog?

From Chapel Hill to Chickenville

How long have you been blogging?

Just over two years

How do you feel your blog benefits other parents?

I pride myself on helping Moms get beyond the basics, from raising chickens to baking birthday cakes. With three young kids I try create a home with homemade food and organized chaos. Its a challenge that we all go through and my blog information can help smooth the way.

Why I started my parenting blog

Everyone I know asks me how I do the things I do. I finally decided it was time to answer some of those questions and a blog seemed the best format. I'm no expert, but people around me seemed to think what I was saying had value.

What I love / What I hate about blogging about family

I love sharing what I've learned raising our three kids. When I had my first I wasn't exactly sure what I was doing. After about 4 months I figured out the mom basics and my learning exploded from there.

For me the hard part about blogging is knowing what to share and what not to. Sometimes I think people are not interested in our personal life, but then a reader will ask questions that I know I should have answered in the blog post.
