From the article: What Should I Pack in the Diaper Bag?
Trying to remember all the things to pack in the diaper bag before you head out the door ranks right up there with, "Did I turn the stove off?" and "Did I lock all the doors?" And once you manage to get out of the house, it still seems like you've forgotten something. I always felt like I was carting around so much when my son was a baby, but I was surprised to find that once he reached toddlerhood, his diaper bag easily weighed twice as much. What are some of the essentials that you pack in your toddler's diaper bag? Share bag-packing tips or tell us what's in your bag now that your child has become a toddler.
Mother of Two
- Currently I use two separate diaper bags. One for my 2-year-old and the other for the newborn. I have diapers, wipes, three pairs of clothes each and a warm pair, just in case. Also there are toys, sippy cup, diaper cream and blankets in there.

What I Put in My Bag for Seven Babies
- I bring 20 nappies, nappy cream, about 10 blankets, three extra changes of clothing each, bottles, baby food (if your baby is on solids), house keys, shoes, money, baby toys -- about three each, sunblock (I put two in), snack for me, baby bottles (I have seven), tooth brushes, tooth paste, hair brush, pillows, breastfeeding pillow and bibs. That's about it but I might have forgotten something.

What I Pack
- I keep a bag with extra clothes, diapers and wipes in the car, so in the diaper bag I only have 2 diapers, travel size wipes and powder, a sippy cup or juice box, some dry snack (like Cheerios), burp cloth (for the ever-running nose) and a plastic bib. And my wristlet, too. I don't bother w/ Tylenol or teething gel as he has never really needed either and he was 2 a few days ago. :)

What's in the Diaper Bag?
- I have twins so I bring a lot, 10 diapers, a pack of wipes, 4 bottles (pre-filled w/ water) 2 pacifiers, 2 sun hats, 2 onesies, 2 jackets, socks, formula, sunblock, Desitin, 2 sippy cups with water, 3 burp clothes, 2 bibs, small first aid kit, hand sanitizer, various forms of medicine, a thermometer, random snacks and my wallet, cell phone, keys, my camera and a small umbrella. I keep blankets, toys, a huge bottle of water, extra diapers and pacifiers in my stroller.

Don't Need a Diaper Bag
- My well-organized purse holds diapers, wipes, Pedialyte, medicine, and rash ointment. I do bring a couple sippies, though, usually in a cooler bag.

Everything You Might Need
- 2 pairs of clothes, bibs, pacifiers, 3 bottles: 2 with water to make formula and 1 juice, a can of formula, sunscreen, Band-Aids, Neosporin, Tylenol, teething gel/tablets, burp rags, toys, about 10 diapers and a full case of travel wipes, hand sanitizer, changing pad, and a water bottle just in case you have to make more formula. You never want to be left needing something.

Burp Cloths Are in my Bag
- As well as all that good stuff, I still bring burp cloths. I have so many from when my one year old was a little guy. They're great for cleaning up grubby faces and even noses when I'm out of tissues. I also bring a cold pack and a bottle cooler. My little guy is off of formula and onto cow's milk so I keep 1 or 2 bottles chilled in the bag.

What's in the bag
- I try to keep it simple. Diapers, wipes, wet ones (hand wipes), and 2 6oz. bottles filled w/ water. I keep the can of formula in the car. Also a snack ball filled w/ yogurt melts, 2 little toys, sunblock, an outfit change, and my wristlet w/ cash, credit cards, and cell. I don't want to lug around 2 bags. That's pretty much it.

- I always keep (besides just diapers and wipes) extra clothes, toys, snacks, and bum cream of course. Sunscreen in the summer time, hats as well, wash cloths, shoes, etc. All for just one child who is 2 years old!!!
