Diddydat
- She was on the futon banging on the window, yelling "Diddydat, diddydat!" So now we all walk around saying, "Run, diddydat, run!" She loves and terrorizes the cats in equal measure.

My Daughter's First Word
- Our daughter just turned one and started speaking last month. After "Mama" and "Dada," her first "real" word was "book." We read to her everyday and she has quite the library of board books, soft books, fairy tales and children's books. She entertains herself "reading" her books. She pronounces "book" like it's a question.

My Son's First Word
- My last born is a boy who loved his eldest sister Blaschea very much. His first word was "Bla" as he tried to call her, and she was very happy that he could say her name before mama or papa. So she preferred the name Bla as her house name now.

"BOT!!!"
- Besides, "Mama" "Dada" the first word our Ethan said was, "Bot!" He would scream, "Bot!" every time he wanted his bottle. He was slow at talking, but amazingly once we took his "BOT!" away he practically started speaking in full sentences.

Our Dog's Name
- My youngest daughter didn't actually say the dog's name right (it's "Blueberry") but she said "Boober" which is close enough. Now we all call the dog that! And isn't it just great that she said the dog's name before she said my name, her dad's name or any of her 3 sibling's names? Her brothers both said "mama" first and her older sister said "dada" first.
