Bedding Pics
It's Friday and my bedding is almost done! Mom e-mailed pictures and the only thing missing is the second layer of dust ruffle that goes over the denim. It will be the floral print. The curtains and bedskirt aren't in the picture but you get the idea.

I'm so excited! The invitations to my shower came in also. My sister is going to address them this weekend and send them out probably the week of Aug. 22. I printed out some floral return address labels for her and she got floral stamps and pink stickers to close the envelopes with. All that topped off with a pink pen to address them with and I think we have officially hit girl baby mania mode.

The doctor's office called yesterday to inform me that I passed my glucose test. I've never been a test taker but these seem to be really easy. Much better than College Algebra, which I took three times. Things seem to be progressing quite nicely and I actually feel pretty good. My sister came over last night and watched Big Brother with me and cleaned out the baby's room. We got all traces of "before children" put away and now it is starting to look like a baby could live there. The rocker glider is the only thing in the room. I put the little bookcase in the closet to hold the lined baskets that will house her shoes, bows, socks and all the free samples that I have been getting in the mail. So far, I have gotten a coupon for free formula, a coupon for a free diaper bag, a sample of teething gel, breast cream, Tylenol and some other stuff is on its way but I can't remember what it is.
After we cleaned out the room, I got my little bed ready on the couch. The snoring is so out of control, my husband resorted to screaming and calling me names the other night. Needless to say, he came home from work around 11:30 p.m. last night and begged me to go lay in the bed, which I did, until around 2 a.m., when I KNEW that I was keeping him awake. So, I slinked back to my bed on the couch to finish out the evening. The doctor told him that it would be this bad until after we had the baby but I don't know if I can handle 14 more weeks of bed hopping. Gee, if I had a nickel for every time I said that!
13 more weeks of work left! Have a great weekend!
