Expect a Price Hike on Huggies
Thursday October 18, 2007
According to this week's U.S. News and World Report, Kimberly-Clark is going to add about $1 to the price of Huggies due to rising costs in energy and materials. Other products from the company are going to be going up as well: Pull-Ups, Little Swimmers, Cottonelle, Viva paper towels, Scott paper towels and toilet paper and GoodNites.
The new pricing will go into effect in February, so stock up now.

My daughter will be in diapers for just about another year. I’m a single parent who struggles just to buy diapers in the first place! Thanks for making things just a little bit harder…I appreciate it….not
huggies is the better diaper and the makers know it, thats the real reason for the hike in prices, it’s just a bunch of crap, children arent expensive enough now you have people rasing prices on diapers and formula making it even harder to take care of them.
I agree with the others. It is too expensive as it is and the real problem is they know that they are the better product. Really the only thing I don’t like about Pampers is the smell of them and if prices go up on Huggies then I’ll just deal with the smell and switch products.
There has never been a better time to choose cloth, and you can save so much money. Price hikes are just another great reason to make the change. It’s never too late!
i like luvs best - they smell good and don’t leak ….though i will say the same for huggies just that they cost more …and soon even more !
if you want to fo cloth diapers - awesome for you - i get enough crap to deal with without washing it out of diapers ….no thanks !
my son is 1 1/2 and still in diapers, and unless I use a coupon, I use Luvs, and will continue to do so. I do however use Huggies Overnites on him, so I will have to deal with the price hike on those….
