I am not a winter person -- but I do love Christmas and New Year's and the (first) snow. I love them more when everything goes smoothly. So as we near the first day of winter and the height of the holiday season, it's time to go over my seasonal safety checklist:
1. Warm clothes
2. Safe toys
3. Fire safety plans
4. Emergency preparedness kit
5. Cold and flu prevention
Check, check, check, check, check. Whew! Now we can get on with the fun.
