How Do You Bathe Your Child?
Some of the cutest pictures I have of my son are of him taking a bath in the kitchen sink. It was the perfect size for him and the perfect height for me. Once we moved to the big tub, I found all that bending over was hurting my back, so when he was younger, I'd just take a bath with him.
I never used many bath-related products and never had one of those plastic tubs. Most of it just seemed like a hassle, which isn't what you need when you've got a slippery baby. One product that I wish had been around, though, is the Boon Flo (Compare Prices). It slips on your faucet and turns the water flow into a sort of waterfall for rinsing hair. I used the cup method for rinsing hair, but I know this would have been met with more approval from my son. It just looks fun. More importantly -- it's kind of soft and rubbery feeling, so it protects your child from possible scrapes and bumps from the faucet.
Another great faucet cover is from 4moms and it comes with a digital thermometer built right in. Very cool.
