Because the only fragrance in the soap comes from the the ingredients, the scent is not offensive and leaves your baby smelling simply clean and not perfumed.
The wash is very long lasting. I took half of the contents and stored it away for later use (this is recommended by the manufacturer, as the formula is very concentrated) and with nearly daily use, it was effective and lasted over four months before I needed to start using the other half. I would say this justifies the price, which is higher than conventional baby washes or even some of the posh spa products for babies. The wash goes even further (one squirt versus several) when used with the included animal "bubble buddy" as opposed to a baby washcloth or just using your hand.
I really liked the thought put into the dispenser. I can't tell you how many times I've been trying to hold onto a slippery baby in the tub while wrangling a bottle of baby wash with a flip-top or other lid. With this wash, you just need one finger to press the pump. A good thing since most parents I know don't come equipped with three hands.
Overall, this is a great baby wash that will work well for any baby, but especially babies who need something a little more gentle.
