Definition: The BiliBlanket is a fiberoptic pad made by General Electric. It is used to treat newborns with jaundice in hospitals and at home. Because it is small and lightweight, it allows parents or hospital staff to hold and care for babies normally and also allows room lights to be dimmed or turned off while the baby still receives treatment.
