Day 25 - - Hit the Beach
Summer Fun

By Stephanie Brown, About.com

Summer is a great time to head to local lake beaches, or if you're lucky enough to have ocean nearby, that's even better. Just be careful with a young infant in the ocean. The water temperature is generally not warm enough for babies to do much more than take a quick dip.

Collecting shells is a fun activity when you're at the beach, but if you aren't near the ocean or your lake doesn't have shells, you can pick up some shells at a craft or hobby store and bring them with you. Scatter some around the beach or bury a few and let your child have fun finding them.

When you get home, you can make some crafts from your treasures with these great Ocean Crafts.
