Playdough is fun to use all by itself, but it's even more fun when you add playdough tools. Is there a favorite set of tools you've purchased or do you just use household objects like forks and rolling pins? Which playdough tools make the best designs and which are your child's favorites?

Biscuit Cutters

My son likes the good old fashioned kind of cookie cutters with the handles and my set of biscuit cutters!

Dowel

We use a big dowel as a rolling pin. I've found that a lot of the toys for playdoh play are not safe for kids under 3. This doesn't have any moving parts that can break off like other rolling pins, it doesn't get her fingers stuck underneath and it's nice and flat so doesn't roll crooked. Try it!
