Todder needs.

Parents should take a CPR class that includes choking. As a paramedic I bought a piece if equipment that we use on the ambulance for items lodged in a child's airway.

Not Much!

Toddlers don't need much -- some good books, nice toys that encourage creativity (we love Duplos, musical instruments, trains and tracks, and lots of homemade sorting toys, stringing toys, and stuffed lovies), and comfortable clothes to play in. Our toddler eats what we eat and we try to include him in as many activities as possible -- simplicity works for us and makes our lives so much easier!

The right food

It took me a while to realize that my baby was past the jar food stage and Ready for table food...and I had nothing ready.
